BIO

Following the release of Better Off’s 2013 debut LP (I Think) I’m Leaving, the album’s stirring, well-crafted songs caught the attention of fans and critics alike, and felt remarkably mature for a young band. Now the quartet are ready to carve out a home on their new label, Equal Vision Records, with the release of a brand new Arun Bali (Saves the Day) produced 7” single “Meth Head”, which was released on October 27, 2014. Better Off has also just wrapped up a massive tour with New Found Glory, We Are The In Crowd and Fireworks, as well as dates with Real Friends.
Singer/guitarist Luke Granered says of the band’s signing to Equal Vision, “We are so excited to be teaming up with Equal Vision Records. From Circa Survive and Coheed to Bane and Converge, this label has done releases for almost all of my favorite bands.”
The members of Better Off are no strangers to the Nashville alternative rock scene, having played in various other projects in the area in recent years. Comparisons to the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Brand New, and Knapsack seem fitting, yet Better Off provide enough of their own take on the sound to create something unique.
The “Meth Head” 7” vinyl release is limited to 700 clear purple, and 300 clear orange copies.
